It’s summer time in Nyn. The Ensnaring Roots are blooming, the Frost Mage is taking some sun poolside, and our Mo is battering his favorite Twilight beasties on the grill. We would be remised if we didn’t take respite from this sunny juncture to bring you the latest Community Watch; our biweekly newsletter that covers the happenings in and around BattleForge!

First up on the agenda is a quick look at the news of the last fortnight. The horizons of Nyn have been slowly pushing outward. We have had two content patches in the last weeks that have seen new fodder for both fans of PvE and PvP. The first patch, which also featured the requisite bug squashing, dropped the Zahadune map. The 2v2 PvP map is a wide open island, the battlefield punctuated only by 2 massive lakes. The map is massive and should provide for some epic PvP clobberfests.

Our PvE Skylords were also treated to a content patch. In this most recent update, Mo & Co continued their journey in the Renegade Campaign with the Convoy map. This time around, the gang finds themselves in the Red desert fighting the nastiest group of Stonekin bandits known to Nyn. Aside from the map, this patch also integrated an in-game PvP ranking table. The table is updated multiple times per day so that you can see where you stack up.

Games enthusiast and all around good guy Richard Hagon checked in with us recently. Richard has been gracious enough to document his trip into the world of BattleForge for our infotainment. In the latest dispatch, Richard confronts the task of putting together the killer BattleForge deck. But who can make just one? Our author discusses deck building theories that have application to all card games and then makes three formidable decks.

Long awaited, oft discussed, the third upgrades are starting to drop. The first round of upgrade three loot is available for common cards in-game. The upgrades for the other cards and promo cards will be integrated into the game with the next patches. You can check out the first available upgrades at BFCards.info. 

A heads up to all the webmasters of the BattleForge fansites out there. The Community Team has expanded the the fansite kit with assets and goodies from the Renegade Campaign. Download the newly updated kit and keep those fansites looking sharp.
