Moon

(belongs to the power of Shadow) The former Queen of the desert kingdom, Ym and the strategist behind the rebellion against the giants. She led the armies that fought alongside the Gods against the cruel slave masters, finally defeating them.
Moon was, in her time, acknowledged to be the greatest military leader the world had known. Now, as a Skylord, she still possesses a profound knowledge of the strange and strategically important places and artifacts that Nyn possesses. Moon has sworn never to send another creature needlessly to its death, for she had to sacrifice so many to defeat the giants.
Brannoc

Brannoc

(belongs to the power of Fire) Brannoc created weapons to aid the resistance against the giants. Originally a jeweler who denied the giants their wishes and, after losing his wife to their fury, he devoted his life to fighting them. He created Giantsbane, an explosive powder that can be used in huge cannons against the giants. He also invented the first landships, floating vessels able to bear his Giantsbane contraptions. Brannoc’s thirst for revenge was the spark that set the mortal rebellion into motion and many claimed he was the leader of the rebels. Brannoc became a legend and later, as a Skylord, Master of the Forge and leader of the Skylords.

Viridya

(belongs to the power of Nature) Brannoc’s daughter. After her father’s actions brought down the fury of the giants, she took shelter in the forests. There, the kind spirits and creatures of Nature saved Viridya from sharing her mother's terrible fate. From them she learned what strength slept in the forests of Nyn. While her father worked in his forge, she awoke the spirits of Nature so they too could battle the giants. When the rebellion was struggling, brave Viridya lead the people and spirits of the forests out onto the battlefield. Her deeds became legend and now, as a Skylord, she still struggles with her father and the Gods who ask she remain at the Forge.

Jorne

(belongs to the power of Stone) Jorne is the oldest creature of this world. Created by the earth with gifts from all the other elements he is a giant of godlike powers. When he was young, Journe strode the land, shaping it into beautiful mountains and vales. He remains King of the Giants and mortals still whisper his name in fear and awe. Journe ruled the world for millennia before the rebellion drove him and his brethren beneath the earth. For long centuries there he pondered both his defeat and his cruel deeds.
When the mortals then came to him, trembling and begging for help, he decided there might be a new chance for his kin. But Journe was betrayed and now his fury knows no bounds.

Rogan Kayle

(belongs to the power of Frost) Kayle is not a god or a giant or a Skylord, he was once a simple cobbler mistaken for a king and abducted. While journeying back, he became captain of the landship, Midwinter and an infamous mercenary leader. Shortly before reaching his homeland of Lyr, the sun began to die and he had to flee underground along with most other mortals. Now, as he emerges from beneath the earth with the other mortals, Kayle’s strange gift to grant hope and courage to others makes him a central figure of this dawning new age.
